The bathroom with a shower at Darnholm Cottage was cozy and inviting. I loved the warm and rustic decor, it made me feel right at home. As a casual traveler, this bathroom suited my needs perfectly.
The only thing I liked less was the size of the bathroom. Others may still enjoy it, though.

I had the best time staying at this cottage! It was so cosy and clean, and the location couldn't have been better. I loved exploring the beautiful surroundings and learning about the history of the area. The food at the local pubs and restaurants was absolutely delicious, especially the steaks at Brambles Bistro. The hosts were incredible, making our 1st wedding anniversary so special with their thoughtful touches and constant communication. I wish I could thank them in person!
Not obvious to find.

The sea views were absolutely divine, and the free WiFi kept me entertained while I sipped my tea. Flamingo Land Theme Park was a mere 46 km away, which was great for a spontaneous giraffe encounter. Scarborough, 19 km from the holiday home, was a delightful place to explore.
Oh, how I loved the constant noise of seagulls at dawn. Such a peaceful and relaxing way to start the day.

This charming cottage, nestled in a picturesque coastal village, offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and historical charm. The four floors are meticulously designed with attention to detail, providing well-appointed rooms that are cozy and spotlessly clean throughout. The den/games room is a wonderful addition for family entertainment. The location in the village is great, and the hosts provide excellent communication and instructions. The cottage also boasts a lovely log burner and excellent WiFi coverage.
Some guests mentioned the noise from seagulls at dawn, though this is part of the area's charm and didn't deter from an enjoyable stay.

It perfectly combines the ambiance of times past with modern comforts. the hosts, Angela and Iain, went out of their way to make our first wedding anniversary special. From the moment we booked until the day we left, they were in contact, ensuring everything was perfect. the cottage itself was cozy, clean, and romantic, with thoughtful little gifts left for us. the location is simply breathtaking, one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.
We couldn't have asked for more and wish we could have met the hosts in person to personally thank them. Cons: Hard to think of anything 🤷♀️.

Sea Views: From the cozy comfort of my room, I felt like a mermaid lounging on a rock, soaking in the breathtaking beauty of the shimmering sea. The view was so mesmerizing, I almost expected a pod of dolphins to swim by and offer me a cocktail.
Noisy Seagulls: In the early morning hours, the playful seagulls entertained themselves by tap-dancing on the rooftop and chimney pots. While I couldn't help but chuckle at their antics, it did disrupt my beauty sleep ever so slightly.

Darnholm Cottage in Robin Hood's Bay has a sweet little bathroom with a shower that's perfect for a speedy clean up. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done and makes you feel fresh as a daisy! As a laid-back youngster, I appreciated the no-frills vibe and the convenience of having everything in one place.
I kinda wished the bathroom had a bathtub instead of just a shower, but hey, that's just my personal preference. Lots of people probably wouldn't mind.
